About MyIPOStatus
MyIPOStatus tracks IPO GMP, subscription, dates and listing gains for mainboard and SME IPOs in India, and checks allotment for every PAN in your family in one go. This page says who runs it, where each number comes from and how far to trust it.
Who runs it
MyIPOStatus is run by Gautam Rudani in India. It's built for retail investors who apply for IPOs in their own name and for their family, and want to see every result in one place.
There are no ads. Google Analytics counts visits and which pages are used; it never receives your PANs.
Where the numbers come from
- NSE publishes the open, close and listing dates, price band, lot size, registrar and subscription (overall and by investor category) for mainboard and NSE SME issues.
- IPOWatch is the source for the grey-market premium (GMP), listing prices, and the issue details on each IPO's page: face value, fresh issue, offer for sale, quotas, promoters and lead managers. For issues NSE doesn't carry, such as BSE SME, it's also where the dates, price band and lot size come from.
- Registrars publish allotment. MyIPOStatus reads it straight from Bigshare Services, KFin Technologies and MUFG Intime. For an IPO handled by another registrar, its page links to that registrar's own site.
- Company logos come from Logo.dev, matched by the company's website or, failing that, an exact match on its name.
How fresh it is
The data is refreshed every few minutes, whether or not anyone is visiting. Figures that change during the day carry the time they were last updated, in IST.
Allotment and listing dates are estimates until they're announced: allotment one working day after bidding closes, listing three working days after. Exchange holidays can move both, and each IPO's page says when a date is an estimate.
Once an IPO leaves the live lists, its page stays up with the last figures recorded, marked with the date they were recorded.
What GMP is, and why it's unofficial
The grey-market premium is the price above the issue price at which an IPO's shares are informally traded before they list. No exchange or regulator publishes it, trades in it aren't protected, and it can move sharply in the days before listing.
MyIPOStatus records each IPO's GMP once a day, so its page can show how it moved and, after listing, how the last GMP compared with the actual listing price. Treat GMP as one rough signal, never as a forecast.
How allotment checks work
When you check allotment, the PAN goes to the IPO's registrar, and the result you see is what the registrar returns: the applicant's name and the shares applied for and allotted. Check results aren't saved on our server.
Confirm on the registrar's site before acting on a result. The privacy policy covers what happens to your PANs.
Not investment advice
MyIPOStatus is for information only. Gautam Rudani is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst, and nothing here is a recommendation to apply for, buy or sell any security. The terms of use have the details.
